Toyota Announces Pricing for the All-New 2013 RAV4
Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc., today announced manufacturer’s suggested retail prices (MSRP) for the all-new 2013 RAV4 crossover sport utility vehicle (SUV). The new RAV4 offers great value through balanced performance and capability, including improved fuel efficiency, class-leading cargo capacity, a dynamic design, class-leading eight standard airbags, and a compelling array of standard features. The 2013 RAV4 arrives at dealerships in early January, a reinvention of the world’s original crossover sport utility vehicle. The fourth-generation RAV4's all-new design achieves strong proportions while conveying agile and fun character. The dynamic exterior features a progressive silhouette, with a sleek-sloping roofline and an aggressive character line. The new RAV4's interior has two-row seating for five and a premium look with soft-touch accents and driver-centric controls. In a significant break with its heritage, RAV4 will switch from its side-hinged rear door to a convenient roof-hinged liftgate with a space-saver spare tire stored under the cargo floor. All RAV4’s will be equipped with a fuel-efficient 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a new six-speed automatic transmission, and a host of available in-cabin technologies. The all-new RAV4’s fuel efficiency is improved from the previous generation. A new Eco mode also promotes more efficient driving for maximum mpg. RAV4 front-wheel drive models have received EPA-estimated fuel efficiency ratings of 24 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway, while all-wheel-drive models are EPA-estimated at 22 city/29 highway mpg. The new RAV4 will provide its active owners a more dynamic drive, with new technologies like a Sport Mode with Dynamic Torque Control AWD, enhancements in suspension performance, and optimized electric power steering. RAV4 Grades
RAV4 will be available in three trim levels: LE, XLE and Limited, each available in front- or all-wheel-drive. Each grade is well-equipped with standard comfort and convenience features and very few options, offering great value, and a simple ordering process to meet the needs and budgets of a variety of buyers. The LE grade comes standard with more equipment than most of the competitive offerings. Features like privacy glass, color keyed door handles, 17-inch steel wheels with wheel covers, a color keyed rear spoiler, and a 6.1-inch display audio unit with integrated back-up camera will all be standard on the LE grade. The LE will offer only two options; roof rails and a tonneau cover. The XLE grade will come standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, tilt/slide power moonroof, fog lamps, dual zone automatic climate control, and premium bucket seats with sport bolstering, just to mention a few. A Display Audio with Navigation and Entune is the only option on the XLE. Standard equipment on the premium Limited grade includes a height-adjustable power liftgate, Premium SofTex seating, eight-way power driver’s seat with memory, and heated front seats. Options include Display Audio with Navigation and Entune, Display Audio with Navigation, Entune and JBL, and Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Standard on all RAV4 models is Display Audio with a 6.1-in. touchscreen, AM/FM/CD, Bluetooth® connectivity, USB and AUX mini-jack, and six speakers. For a uniform esthetic, the Display Audio, as well as primary and secondary gauges, features Clear Blue Illumination. Display Audio allows the driver and front passenger to operate the audio system, display HVAC settings, engage available navigation and access the available Entune™ multi-media system. Available on XLE and Limited, Display Audio with Navigation and Entune™ includes advanced voice recognition. The MSRP for the new RAV4 LE grade will be $23,300 for the FWD and $24,700 for the AWD. The XLE will be $24,290 for the FWD and $25,690 for the AWD model. The MSRP for the Limited grade will be $27,010 for the AWD and $28,410 for AWD. Toyota RAV4 MSRPs do not include a delivery, processing and handling (DPH) fee of $845. The DPH fee for vehicles distributed by Southeast Toyota (SET) and Gulf States Toyota (GST) may vary.

Toyota today highlighted its sustainable manufacturing advancements and commitment to environmental leadership as the automaker released its 2012 North America Environmental Report. The report spans Toyota operations in the United States, Canada and Mexico over the fiscal year, including research and development, manufacturing, logistics and sales. Toyota remains the most fuel-efficient full line auto manufacturer in the United States and the industry hybrid leader.

- New eco-conscious vehicles: two within the Prius family – the Prius c and Prius Plug-in Hybrid – and the highly anticipated, all-electric 2013 RAV4 EV co-developed with Tesla
- Exceeding requirements under the Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards for U.S. cars and Canadian Car Company Average Fuel Consumption (CAFC) standards
- Ten Toyota North American plants achieved zero waste to landfill

- More than 600 suppliers and 41 Toyota sites have been internationally-certified environmental management systems
- A 15 percent reduction in energy consumption per vehicle produced (since 2002)
- Vibrant local partnerships, including nearly 900 volunteer events with TogetherGreenTM, Toyota signature environmental philanthropic program with the National Audubon Society
“Toyota believes sustainable operations go hand-in-hand with our core values of quality, innovation and good corporate citizenship,” said Dian Ogilvie, senior vice president and secretary, Toyota Motor North America, Inc. “We are committed to continuous improvement and finding creative ways to address the challenges of climate change and resource scarcity with dedicated leadership and the help of our partners.”
The report also measured Toyota North American operations against one-year goals in compliance, air emissions, energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, waste minimization and water use. Key partnerships, industry trends and insight on consumer preferences also guide Toyota’s efforts in serving both the planet and its people.

Innovative Technology and Fuel-Efficiency
- The Prius Family continues to lead the U.S. hybrid market, capturing 52 percent of the U.S. purchases in the first half of 2012 and with the new Prius Plug-in Hybrid estimated to go as many as 540 miles on a single charge and single tank. More than 1.2 million Prius Family vehicles have been sold in the U.S. and 2.9 million worldwide as of June 30, 2012.
- Toyota continues to innovate using bio-based plastics in parts and components and is investigating new eco-friendly fabrics and carpets. In each model redesign or running change, more renewable, recycled and recyclable materials are considered.

- Toyota is moving ahead with its goal to offer hybrid options on all its vehicles by 2020.
Production and Distribution
- Toyota’s North American manufacturing affiliate (Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc.) received its eighth consecutive ENERGY STAR® Sustained Excellence Award. The division was recognized for several efforts, including decreasing absolute energy use by 9 percent, influencing the company’s supply chain by continuing to train suppliers to conduct internal plant energy assessments known as treasure hunts and conducting new research for expanded benchmarking of assembly and powertrain plants.
- North American plants had zero violations and zero complaints. The Canadian logistics sites achieved their 14th year with no dangerous goods violations.
- Cumulative savings from the use of returnable containers in Toyota’s logistics division amounts to more than 129 million pounds of wood and 48 million pounds of cardboard. Toyota’s North American Parts Operations division uses more than 60,000 reusable metal shipping containers in place of cardboard and wood pallets, up from 30,000 a few years ago.
Showrooms and Roads
- Toyota and Scion vehicles represent six of the Top EPA-rated Fuel Sippers for 2012, including the new Prius c, which was ranked first with EPA-estimated 53 mpg city/46 mpg highway.
- Toyota leads the industry with 37 facilities certified to LEED® including 11 Toyota and Lexus sites and 26 dealerships. Toyota’s sales and logistics division, Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. (TMS), has been a member of the United States Green Building Council since 2002.
Community Partnerships
- In 2008, Toyota provided a $20 million grant and launched TogetherGreen™ with the National Audubon Society. The program trains environmental leaders and awards grants for conservation projects across the United States. The program has trained 400 conservation leaders who have inspired volunteers to give more than 333,000 hours to various projects.
- In mid-2012, Toyota celebrated reaching 1 million Canadian children through the Evergreen Learning Grounds program. The program offers students a close, hands-on relationship with the natural world while educating them about the importance of restoring and protecting it.

2013 Toyota Corolla Adds New Premium Packages!
The Toyota Corolla, already one of the best-equipped cars in the compact class, offers new comfort amenities with a choice of Premium Packages for both the LE and S grades for 2013. All Corolla models feature a revised chrome-accented grille for 2013, and the LE and S grades include a standard Display Audio system with 6.1-inch touch screen. The 2013 Corolla LE and S grade models gets a standard 6.1-inch touch-screen control panel for the AM/FM/CD system, six speakers and a USB port with iPod® connectivity. Bluetooth® wireless technology provides hands-free phone capability, music streaming and phonebook access, and automatic sound leveling adjusts for outside noise. The system also comes equipped with an auxiliary input jack. Auto-sound leveling adjusts volume in response to ambient noise. Both the LE and S grades feature steering wheel audio control switches. Compact car buyers are increasingly seeking premium features, and the 2013 Toyota Corolla LE and S models answer that demand with three Premium Packages. The S grade offers the Premium, Premium Interior or Premium Complete Packages, while the LE, which already offered an optional Premium Package, adds the Premium Interior and Premium Complete Packages for 2013. In the S grade, the new Premium Package upgrades the car with 17-inch, 5-spoke alloy wheels, 205/55R17 tires and a power tilt/slide moonroof with sliding sunshade. The Premium Interior Package adds automatic climate control, multi-reflector halogen headlights with black sport trim and auto on/off feature, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls. The Premium Complete Package adds to that the Display Audio with Navigation and Entune™ multi-media system. This system includes all of the features in the new base audio system (see above) plus SiriusXM Radio with 90 day complimentary trial, HD Radio with iTunes® Tagging, advanced voice recognition and Entune™ apps. The Toyota Entune™ system is a collection of popular mobile applications and data services, with three years of complimentary access. Once a smart phone is connected to the vehicle using Bluetooth wireless technology or a USB cable, Entune’s features are operated using the vehicle’s controls or, for some services, by voice recognition. Entune™ includes Bing™ and Pandora®; real-time info including traffic, weather, fuel prices, sports and stocks. Apps available at no charge include iHeartRadio, MovieTickets.com and OpenTable®. (See toyota.com/entune for details.) In the Corolla LE, the available Premium Package (16-inch, five-spoke alloy wheels with P205/55R16 tires, integrated fog lamps and a power tilt/slide moonroof with sliding sunshade) is augmented by the new Premium Interior Package, which shares the features of the S Premium Interior Package, also adding an 8-way power driver’s seat. The new Premium Complete Package in the LE model is also similar to that offered for the S grade, but differs in its use of 16-inch alloy wheels with 205/5R16 tires. The 2013 Corolla continues to offer the two-year or 25,000-mile Toyota Care complimentary maintenance plan. Performance and Efficiency
The 2013 Corolla is available in three grades: the base-model Corolla L, the LE, and sporty S grade. All models are equipped with the 1.8-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine, which produces 132 hp at 6,000 rpm and 128 lb-ft of torque at 4,400 rpm. Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) controls valve timing on both the intake and exhaust camshafts to help optimize performance and fuel economy. The 1.8-liter engine is paired with a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic Electronically Controlled Transmission (ECT) on the base Corolla L and the sporty S grades; the LE model makes the automatic standard. The four-speed automatic uses a torque converter with flex lockup for increased fuel efficiency, as well as uphill/downhill shift control. For a more engaging driving experience, the driver can shift the automatic manually by moving the shift lever to the left from its “D” position into the “S” position, then pushing forward for upshifts and back for downshifts. An indicator inside the combination gauge shows the gear selected. The 2013 Corolla has earned an EPA-estimated fuel economy rating of 27 mpg city and 34 mpg highway with the five-speed manual transmission, and 26 mpg city and 34 mpg highway with the four-speed automatic transmission. Handling and Ride
The smooth-riding Corolla is built around a stiff body structure that relies on high tensile strength steel, gussets and cross members for its strength, rigidity and lightweight construction. Front suspension is composed of a compact, rigid L-arm-type MacPherson strut with a stabilizer bar. The Corolla’s torsion beam rear suspension employs a coil-over-shock arrangement that allows efficient packaging along with agile handling and excellent ride comfort. An electric power-assist steering system uses a compact motor, speed reducer and torque sensor built into the steering column. The system varies the amount of assistance according to engine RPM and vehicle speed. The result is appropriate weight and responsiveness at higher speeds, and light effort at low speeds. Electric power steering reduces parasitic losses to the engine, thereby aiding fuel economy. It is also environmentally efficient, because it does not require hydraulic oil. Safety
The 2013 Corolla comes equipped with the standard Toyota Star Safety System™, which includes Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist. It also features the standard Smart Stop Technology brake-override system. The Corolla is engineered to absorb and disperse impact energy throughout the entire body structure, including front and rear crumple zones. Strengthened door beltline reinforcements help share the impact load, which in side impacts is also directed to the underbody. A direct tire pressure monitor system comes standard on every Corolla. All Corolla models are equipped with six standard airbags, including advanced front airbags, front seat-mounted side airbags, and front-and-rear side-curtain airbags. Seatbelt pretensioners retract the seat belt at the time of a frontal collision, and the dual-stage force limiter helps limit the seat belt force applied to the passenger’s chest. Front seats integrate active headrests. If the vehicle is struck from the rear with sufficient force, a cable-actuated mechanism in the active front headrest moves the headrest upward and forward to help limit the movement of the occupant's head. Comfort and Convenience
The 2013 Corolla upholds a 40-plus year heritage for providing outstanding value in standard equipment. All models feature a standard all-weather package. The Corolla L grade features 15-inch steel wheels with full wheel covers; P195/65 R15 tires; color-keyed exterior door handles and mirrors; a heavy-duty rear window defogger with timer; power windows, door locks, multi-function in-key remote keyless entry system with lock, unlock, trunk release, panic and remote illuminated entry; AM/FM/CD audio with four speakers with MP3/WMA playback capability, auxiliary audio jack, and auto sound leveling; air conditioning with pollen filter; intermittent windshield wipers; daytime running lights; tilt and telescopic steering wheel; multi-information display with outside temperature, current fuel economy, average fuel economy, average speed and travel distance; fabric-trimmed six-way adjustable driver’s seat; four-way adjustable front passenger seat; 60/40 split folding rear seats and a 12-volt auxiliary power outlet. In addition to the new audio system, the popular Corolla LE grade adds variable intermittent windshield wipers with mist cycle; color-keyed power heated outside mirrors; cruise control;, and a tilt telescopic steering wheel with metallic accents. The sporty Corolla S grade interior gets an exclusive upgrade with front sport seats, metallic style interior trim and analog sport instrumentation. Exterior Design
Built on a 102.4-inch wheelbase, the Corolla provides room for five, with a 12.3 cu. ft. trunk. Just above the dense mesh grille that helps form the now familiar Toyota T-face, an interlayer of anti-chipping coating is used to help minimize paint damage from stone chips. The sporty Corolla S grade projects a street-smart look with 16-inch alloy wheels and 205/55 R16 tires; and multi-reflector halogen headlamps with black housings. The standard body kit on the Corolla S model adds a sporty look while also enhancing aerodynamics. The kit includes color-keyed front and rear underbody spoilers, sport side rocker panels, chrome-tipped exhaust, unique S badge and rear mudguards; color-keyed rear spoiler and integrated fog lamps. Numerous features contribute to low wind noise in the Corolla, including specially shaped A-pillars, acoustic glass windshield and side window structures that resist vibration. The windshield molding, wiper blade covers and shape of the cowl air intake louvers are all designed to minimize noise. Windshield washer nozzles are partially shielded by the rear edge of the hood. Inside, the carpeting is designed to absorb noise. Interior Design
The Corolla’s driving position and front seats are tailored to a wide range of driver heights. A standard tilt and telescope steering wheel in all models makes it easy for taller drivers to find a comfortable position. A multi-information display presents a variety of information, including outside temperature, current fuel economy, average fuel economy, average speed and travel distance. The Corolla’s rear seat offers space and comfort for three adults. Careful attention to exhaust system routing provides a nearly flat rear floor, enhancing comfort for the middle passenger. Three interior color schemes are available: Ash, Dark Charcoal, Bisque and Bisque High Contrast. Easy-to-reach storage spaces provide convenience and usability inside the Corolla. These include center console side pockets; a storage box above the usual glove box; a console box with a large-capacity main tray and a smaller accessory tray; an overhead console useful for storage of sunglasses or garage-door openers, and front and rear-door storage pockets with sculpted bottle holders that can hold 20-ounce bottles. Limited Warranty
Toyota’s 36-month/36,000 mile basic new-vehicle warranty applies to all components other than normal wear and maintenance items. Additional 60-month warranties cover the powertrain for 60,000 miles and corrosion with no mileage limitation.

"I recently purchased a Toyota Prius from Toyota of Redlands, my experience was excellent. I first inquired via the internet and setup an appointment for the next day. I walked directly in and meet the internet sales Manager Jason Ho. I filled out my credit app, had my trade in appraised and then test drove the vehicle. I enjoyed the vehicle so I then met with the Finance Manager Gil Ygelsias. I then decided to upgrade to the Prius three and finalized the paperwork. No haggling and excellent customer service, I could not ask for more! Thanks to Jason Ho, Gil Yglesias and Jeff Sumpter (Service) for a great experience. This is my third Toyota and my second purchase at this dealer!"

Thank you for this fabulous review! Happy Monday!
"While I have stayed with the Toyota Brand for the last 20 years this is my first new purchase since 2007. The was was worth it. Redlands Toyota Caroline Amaya and Toi Costakes made my Purchase an Outstanding experience. Caroline is one of the most polite, kind and courteous sales people I have ever dealt with. Caroline went out of her to make sure my purchase experience was flawless. Both Caroline and Toi are consummate professionals that should be commended for their job performance. I would gladly recommend a friend to Redlands Toyota and would go out of my way to steer them to Caroline Amaya. I plan to purchase another new vehicle on my birthday in April and hope to deal the Redlands Toyota Family again. PS although he was not part of my purchase, I spoke with Paul Cogan at length and found his to be a Class act and a good representative for Redlands Toyota."

Thank you for this fabulous review, Jennifer!
"We had a great experience when purchasing a used Prius for our 17 year old son. We saw it online. Liked it. Test drove it. Negotiated a fair price. Had a couple of burgers while we waited for the paperwork. No hassle, but we did pay cash so that made it easy. We have not used the Service department yet so I'm a little weary after reading the reviews. Hopefully Toyota of Redlands management has read them and will make improvements. A little bit of service goes a long way!"
Thank you for these two fabulous reviews!
5-Star Reviews on Google + Local:
"We bought our car after seeing it advertised on the internet, I called about it, and they said they would set it aside for us to come look the next day. When we got there, our car was right up front, ready to take a test drive in. Our salesmen was average, didn't try too hard, and left us alone for over an hour waiting on the finance department. Another salesmen tried to get his guy in before us but I made sure that didn't happen! After waiting for about 2 hours, we finally talked to the finance department and everything went well. Overall, they were very nice, the dealership was big and kept up well. They just needed more help with the finance department.
Best car buying experience ever. Sales and financing staff were very friendly and not too pushy. In and out of there within 2 hours. Prices are great."

Teams Hustle to Complete their Builds on Time for the Toyota Racing Dream Build Challenge!
Customizing a vehicle can often be broken down into a series of tasks that can then be scheduled and executed—at least until the clock runs out. Then all bets are off. And so it goes for the Toyota Racing Dream Build Challenge teams with time to complete their ambitious builds coming to a close in about two weeks, just before voting begins on October 20. And just like a race car, these one-off rides must be ready to go when the green flag drops. Kyle Busch's "Rowdy Edition" Camry is "getting close." Busch's team at Detroit Speed has extensively reworked the Camry's body with strong fender flares, a NASCAR-style splitter and front and rear belly pans to direct airflow under the car. All of these parts have been custom designed and fabricated by hand—a painstaking and time-consuming process. More recently, the team has been scrambling to finish custom interior touches with completely redone seats and a custom electronic entertainment package. Getting a complex collection of custom-built electronics to work seamlessly in his "Tekked-Out Prius" seems to be keeping Clint Bowyer's RKM Performance Center team awake into the wee hours. It's loaded with hi-tech gadgets like side-view cameras that replace the mirrors, 45 feet. of fiber optic interior lighting and a 16-speaker stereo with six crossovers and dual amplifiers. Then there's the suspension which has dropped the Prius "lower than a Sprint Cup car." And, there’s certainly no lack of team spirit as their build will sport no less than 364 copies of the Toyota logo.
Alexis DeJoria's Pre-Runner Tundra concept has her Racer Engineering team working on virtually every aspect of the truck. Long-travel suspension (20 inches in the rear), an elaborate custom roll cage wrapped in leather, and a TRD-supercharged engine are all part of her design to make a serious off-road tool. The team is also squeezing in a JBL audio system and a specially-built fuel cell. It’s all more than enough to keep them busy right up to the due date. Some builds are more ambitious than others, and Antron Brown's “DragQuoia” is a big concept that's challenging its capable builders. The "family dragster" idea means that whatever they do has to leave room for the family to ride safely and comfortably. And they're doing quite a lot. For starters, the Motorsports Technical Center team is lopping more than 2,000 lbs. off the factory curb weight. A TRD blower and nitrous coax the 5.7-liter V8 to pump out more than 650 hp for those "quick" runs to the supermarket. Massive 21.5-inch wide rear tires put the power to the ground, which in turn need big fender mods—inside and out—to keep the hot rubber bits contained in the wheel wells. Fortunately, Junior will have a comfortable perch in the back to view the scenery rushing by, secured with his own five-point racing harness. And between runs, he can watch his favorite DVD on the seat-back media player. Every one of the Dream Build vehicle teams has the chops and experience to deliver for their driver. The simple question on delivery day may come down to this: Which team will be the least sleep deprived. All four of the Toyota Racing Dream Build Challenge vehicles will be unveiled at the Toyota display during the company's press conference on October 30 at the 2012 SEMA Show. Fans can vote for their favorite team beginning on October 20 and may vote once per day through October 29. For more information, go to the home page at www.ToyotaRacingDreamBuild.com.

Check out where Toyota lands on Interbrands "Best Global Brands 2012" list!
The resilience of the Toyota brand seems to have closed the chapter on sudden acceleration and helped the carmaker in reclaiming its global leadership position. Toyota’s Prius customers continue to deepen their connection to the Toyota portfolio. At the same time, the Prius lineup is creating an influx of new customers to the Toyota brand. And thanks to the generous subsidies and reduced taxes on cleaner cars, hybrids are a clear differentiator for Toyota, so the Prius portfolio continues to grow. In addition to showing solid numbers with repeat customers, Toyota is strengthening its appeal with younger consumers. The brand has intensified its incentives push and reduced its fleet sales. This helps customers find a good deal while also holding the line on the resale value of their vehicle. While relying on incentives will undermine the brand, overall spending remains among the lowest in the industry. Europe continues to be a challenge for the brand, but, overall, management will be focused on evolving its messaging and communications while reinventing a maturing brand with more stylish and better-looking vehicles.

Scion’s ‘What Moves You’ Campaign Highlights Unique ‘Scion Story’ in New Chapter of Brand’s Evolution!
Scion today announced the launch of its brand campaign “What Moves You” featuring its own unique “Scion Story.” The campaign launches today at www.scion.com and continues with targeted high-profile broadcast, print, online and out-of-home placements next week. “The recent introductions of the FR-S sports car and the premium micro-subcompact iQ have expanded Scion’s target audience. While these new products have successfully increased awareness of the lineup, many people have only a vague understanding of Scion’s uncommon brand attributes,” said Doug Murtha, Scion vice president. “With this in mind, the ‘What Moves You’ campaign is the first of several important initiatives designed to better familiarize consumers with the brand. “People know that Scion makes iconic vehicles that are built with the highest level of quality, but they might not know what Scion stands for and what makes it unique. We’re truly proud to showcase the brand’s story in the new campaign, to clearly tell people who we are, what we support and more importantly, what moves us.” Appearing prominently on the brand’s website, The Scion Story describes the colorful automotive brand’s history and plainly spells out its core beliefs. For example, it states, “We know that we are not the biggest car brand and we don’t want to be. What we do want is to provide a unique and better alternative that is right for today’s new car buyers.” This story describes Scion’s goal of offering quality cars that owners will want to personalize, with a simple purchase process that is enjoyable, and details the brand’s support of emerging talent in the art, music, design and automotive enthusiast realms. “Since the brand launched nearly 10 years ago, Scion has had an affinity for the creative arts that has resulted in helping more than 1,700 artists follow their passions,” added Owen Peacock, Scion national marketing and communications manager. “Our support of emerging artists is and always has been a cornerstone of the brand, and we bring that to light by featuring them and their personal stories as key parts of the campaign.” Specifically, the “What Moves You” campaign incorporates Scion creative partners, their stories of what moves them and how Scion has supported them to achieve their goals. The broadcast spot features Scion collaborators like artist Neil Krug, automotive designer Troy Sumitomo, professional racing driver Michele Abbate, and musician Prince Terrence and his band Hussle Club. Experience the “What Moves You” campaign now at www.scion.com and read the “Scion Story” at www.scion.com/about or download it from www.scionnewsroom.com.

Toyota Tundra to Tow Space Shuttle Endeavour on Last Leg of Journey to the California Science Center
TORRANCE, Calif. (September 12, 2012) – Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. (TMS) announced today that the Toyota Tundra full-size pickup truck is slated to tow the space shuttle Endeavour during its final journey to the California Science Center on October 13, 2012, where it will go on permanent display. The Endeavour will travel a total of 12 miles from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on city streets to the Science Center, with the Tundra towing the last quarter mile.
Tested extensively prior to the announcement, the 2012 Tundra is slated to safely tow the 300,000 pound historic artifact down Bill Robertson Lane in Exposition Park, near downtown Los Angeles, on the final leg of its journey. Endeavour will be towed using a stock 2012 Tundra CrewMax 1/2–ton pickup, identical to models currently found in Toyota dealerships, with no additional modifications made to increase towing capacity or generate more power. The Tundra CrewMax is equipped with Toyota’s powerful 5.7L V8 engine, producing a maximum tow capacity of 10,000 pounds. TMS has done extensive testing and worked with The Sarens Group, a heavy lifting and engineered transport company, to develop a dolly specifically for hauling the Endeavour. “There is no larger or more recognizable icon of the U.S. space program’s success than the shuttle, and to have it towed by the Toyota Tundra is not only an incredible example of the capabilities of the truck, but an honor to be part of history,” said Ed Laukes, TMS vice president of marketing communications. “The entire journey is something the world will be watching, and gives us a chance to prove that the ‘overbuilt’ Tundra is built to do any job – even tow the space shuttle.” Participation in the transportation of the shuttle is part of an ongoing partnership between TMS and the Science Center in an effort to provide support and awareness of the space program and continuing education of the public through exhibits and programs. Toyota currently has a Tundra truck on display in a Science Center exhibit demonstrating the physics of leverage. The tow Tundra will replace the existing Tundra and will be on display after the Endeavour exhibit opens on October 30, 2012. At the end of the Endeavour’s 12 mile journey from LAX to the Science Center, a “finish-line” celebration at Exposition Park is planned for the evening of October 13, as the shuttle arrives at the Science Center, allowing the public to witness the finale of this historic voyage. The tow program was developed in partnership with Saatchi & Saatchi LA (SSLA), the agency of record for TMS, and the Science Center, and serves as a unique way to demonstrate Tundra’s capabilities and towing capacity. In collaboration with SSLA and Science Center, TMS has developed a host of online resources and activities that provide behind-the-scenes videos, photos, activities for children and information about the Tundra Endeavour project and can be found at www.toyota.com/TundraEndeavour beginning September 17th. Visitors can share content, sign up for email alerts and participate in re-Tweeting information that will help contribute money to the California Science Center for further development of exhibits and displays.courtesy of pressroom.toyota.com

Thank you for this stunning review, Lori!
"We bought our used car here today! I called them this morning to make sure they had a car that we saw online still available, they did and said they would hold it aside for us. When we got there, our car was right in front of the office, waiting for us and in the shade! Our salesmen Jason was very informative and helpful. The only bad thing I can say was that we had to wait for about an hour to talk to the finance department because there was only one man working. Other than that everything was great and great prices!"

Thank you for this fabulous review! We greatly appreciate your feedback, Tammy!
"Toyota of Redlands is amazing. They offer true hospitality and they truly care about their customers. I was not hounded or stalked by sales people. I visited several other dealers and was hounded by tons of sales people. I felt stalked. Not at Toyota of Redlands. One person greeted me, went for a test drive and walked me through the entire process. He even stayed with me while talking to the finance agent and helped me get the best deal. Everyone was very courteous and helpful. I could tell they really cared about me as a person, not just a sales-quota that needed to be met."

"Once again, we have received excellent service from Toyote of Redlands. I've driven Toyotas for years. We live in the mountains and always buy 4wheel drive cars. They have been the best and Redlands has been great with their service and care. I even like the coffee and goodies. I would and have recommended Toyota of Redlands to others who live up here. Why mess around? Go with the best!"

200-millionth Toyota sets global milestone!

MUSCAT — In 1935, the first Toyota — a G1 truck — was produced in the automotive department of Toyoda Automatic Loom Works, Ltd. Seventy-six years later the automaker has manufactured 199,999,999 more vehicles, reaching the 200 million milestone.
Marking the achievement, Toyota President Akio Toyoda said: “I wish to express my heartfelt appreciation to our customers the world over who made it possible for us to reach this milestone. I also have the most profound respect and gratitude for the efforts of all persons who were involved in developing, manufacturing and marketing Toyota and Lexus vehicles over the years. We are determined to make our cars even better, to continue to give our customers the best possible product. This is the common goal of our 300,000 Toyota staff members worldwide.”
The most-produced Toyota model is the Corolla, with total global production just shy of the 40 million mark at 39.08 million units making it the best selling car of all time. The 2013 Corolla has recently been launched in Oman. In it, state-of-the-art technology and superb design comes together perfectly. Elegantly crafted and loaded with special touches ... “the stylishly new Corolla Exclusive puts all others in the shade,” say those who have seen the marvel from up close.
The stylishly new Corolla Exclusive is available in Oman with many attractions that include front and rear body-kit, alloy wheels, chrome side protection moulding, turn signal indicators on the outer mirrors, rear-lip spoiler, chrome garnish fog lamp, chrome muffler cutter and several
redesigned features. New "exclusive" decals on both flanks add to its appeal.
An air of exclusivity is created by the rich woodgrain panelling that adorns the front console along with woodgrain steering wheel and gear shift knob. The bluetooth kit adds to the convenience. Generous head and legroom and superb fit and finish heighten the feel of relaxation.
Another star performer is the Toyota Camry — a model that has gone on to dominate the midsize family sedan segment for virtually all of the century, as consumers immediately embraced it for its high build quality, comfortable ride and impressive durability. Successive models of Camry have received top awards over the years and the consumers have always trusted the excellent quality, durability and reliability of this vehicle.
If we speak of the current Camry, we can conclude that it's the 'Best Camry Ever' on the basis of its bold, sophisticated design, an even spacious interior, improved driving characteristics and an even quieter ride.
With class-leading safety, fuel economy from its four-cylinder, 2.5-litre based power-train and multimedia technology, it is a truly 'a pride to own and a joy to drive'.
From Toyota's stable of triumphant thoroughbreds, the Land Cruiser rears its proud head higher. “There are a few vehicles that inspire my imagination,” says a Forbes magazine article, “Just say 'Land Cruiser' in my vicinity, and I’m off to the desert, or the jungle, or anywhere a million miles away from civilisation — at least in my mind,”
The object of Forbes' admiration, the Toyota Land Cruiser
is a 'Totally Unchallenged' 4WD. With cutting-edge innovations to its exterior and interior, it delivers high performance, safety and luxury, whether on the road or off.
Among other achievers in the Toyota range are Aurion, Avalon, Prado, Fortuner, FJ Cruiser, Yaris, Sequoia, Hilux, Coaster, among others. Each a favourite in their segment.
In Oman, Toyota soars far above the rest — both in terms of market share as well as customer retention. Its pride of place made possible by an outstanding product and the ever-reliable support of Saud Bahwan Group.
Added privileges available to Toyota customers include 6-year unlimited mileage protection plan, 98 per cent parts availability and a vast sales, service and spares infrastructure/facility network spanning Oman.

Thank you for your awesome feedback, Ken!
5-Star Review on Google + Local:
"I had decided to replace my 1997 Tacoma (323460 miles) with another Tacoma. Visited Toyota of Redlands on Thursday and looked at a few of them. Went back on Firday and bought a 2012 Tacoma w/Double Cab. Pauly, the salesman was very helpful and understood my needs; didn't push me to get more truck than I wanted. The finance people were great, especailly Toi, who was very clear and thorough while going through all the paperwork. I've been back a couple of times for non-problem reasons and the place feels like home. This was my first-ever new vehicle purchase. I purchased the previous Tacoma from another dealer as a six-month old lease return. Thanks, Ken Howells"
